About us

Takama is a UK based company. Our goal is to educate as broad an audience as possible to practice self care by giving them the tools and techniques to incorporate fascia release and point stimulation into everyday life. Thus enhancing wellbeing with minimal effort.

Takama work with manufacturers both in the UK and Europe to produce our range of products that promote health and vitality. We use eco friendly materials that are close to nature, hand turning the wood locally and keeping the packaging simplistic and recyclable.

Our products were developed in association with KORE therapy ( https://koretherapy.com) a diagnostic and treatment therapy that focuses on the root cause of body and mind issues. It uses a unique mixture of modern Western and traditional Eastern medical diagnostic skills to assess & treat Musculo-skeletal imbalance, optimising blood flow, efficient organ function, free and easy energy flow and neurological function.

With the experience of KORE therapy behind us we have designed products that are easy to use, portable and eco friendly.

We at Takama know your health is very important and we are here to give you the support you need

Hi I'm Carolyn Axon and a co-founder of Takama.

My journey to Takama has seen me undertake a wide variety of roles in my personal life and in my career. The skills, I have picked up along the way, will no doubt enable me to deliver the products and services Takama requires. But you need more to reach your goals. You need a belief in what you are doing, coupled with determination to succeed. I met John when he treated me for an injured shoulder. During treatment he persuaded me to join him in his venture to bring wellbeing to all. He fixed my shoulder and gained an accomplice. Takama products are the first step on our path to our goal of enabling people to establish a daily routine, to primarily prevent ill health, but should a weakness occur, the ability to bring the body back into balance.

John Brazier co-founder of Takama

My goal is ‘To heal the world’, yes this is slightly difficult with only one pair of hands, but so far I haven’t done a bad job working around the world with personal and corporate clients (https://drjohnbrazier.com). Last year however, I decided that I wanted to extend my reach even further.

The one thing I have learnt is that we can all help ourselves (at times) and we can all help others (anytime!) we just need direction. With this observation in mind Takama was created.  Through Takama we will build a healing community, supported by my therapy techniques and specially developed products. So healing the world isn’t such an impossible dream!
